Musiqbox’s Throwback Thursday this week is 2002’s All My Life by The Foo Fighters!  This Grammy award winning song is from their One bye One album and was listed as number 94 on Q magazine’s top 100 greatest guitar tracks. 

You may remember Musiqbox’s Throwback Thursday song this week (2006’s Here It Goes Again by OK Go) more for the video than the song. This video is fantastically entertaining and definitely a breath of fresh air when it came out and it 2007 it actually won a Grammy in the category of Best Short Form Music Video. YouTube FTW.

Musiqbox’s Throwback Thursday this week is She Works Hard for the Money for Donna Summer. 

Musiqbox’s Throwback Thursday this week is the classic jam Put It On by the late lyrical wordsmith Big L. The song is one of the first singles from L’s debut album Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous and deliver’s some of rap’s best punch lines and rhymes. Fun Fact: In the early 90’s Big L founded the group COC which consisted of L himself Cam’ron and Ma$e (who at the time were known as Killa Cam and Murda Mase). 

Musiqbox’s Throwback Thursday this week is the second video version of Can’t Tell with Zach Galifianakis. Even though this isn’t the official video, we think this is one of the greatest Kanye videos of all time! The song was the first single from Kanye’s third album Graduation and the second video made for the song. The video was filmed on Zach’s farm with Will Oldham. 

Musiqbox’s Throwback Thursday this week is Trying to Find a Balance from Atmosphere’sSeven’s Travel’s album. For extra throwbackness, you may also recognize this song from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, talk about nostalgia.
